Now that I've looked at it, I think I would like one where it shows the computer screen ON the tablit thingy. It'd be hard to draw on something without actually SEEING what you're drawing (I don't wanna have to look at the computer screen while I draw. That would feel weird.)...understand?
Got it, you totally need one! It's way cool! The bike designer on Orange County Choppers uses something like that to design new bikes.

It's like this...It's....You're basiclly buying your own present with the cousin drawings. I'll feel bad if I got something for "free".
One time, dad bought Manda this triangle boomerang thingy for her B-Day. We try it out in the backyard and what happens? It gets stuck in the freakin' tree. Plus, it wouldn't have gotten stuck in that tree if it was a "boomerang". Total rip-off. So, I recomend that you don't go out and buy a neon orange triangle that says "Boomerang" on it. GO WOODEN BOOMERANGS!! =D

Olive_12, have you talked to Sarah about what it takes to be a graphic artist? You know she's going to IUK for that.
I think you should seriously consider something in graphic arts/internet design/etc. You'd be great at it and there are some cool ad agencies who'd love to have your talent.
OR you could be a cake decorator for Ace of Cakes when you grow up. I think your sense of humor would fit in great with them!!!!
Well, I'm takin' a class next school year that works with art and computers. It's not really a graphic design class, but I think I'll like it.
I drew this without my tablit on photoshop the other day. Now, if I can draw like this without one, it would look WAAAY better if I DID have one. ^^

Hey, Liv. I have that Bamboo tablet.
If you want, come over & try it out. You could see if you like it enough to spend the $ or not. It does take some getting used to. This is what you'll use in your classes most likely.
I've used Craig's write-on screen before & it's more of a pain to me than the bamboo because it looks like you're drawing about a cm away from where you actually are... It's just a matter of preference I guess.
