Rachael's 15th B-Day PART 2

Okay, well, when we were waiting, did I mention that there was a cop car out there? There was nobody in it, but we saw the cop across the parking lot at the movie theater. Rachael called one of us a "stupid pig" really loud because of the snowballs, and as soon as she said it, she gasped. I said "What?" and then she looked over at the theater. The cop wasn't there, thank goodness. Her dad finally came, and when he did show up, Amanda and Rachael ran on ice to get to him. That was stupid. I sat up front and put on my seat belt. Rachael's dad is the Mexican one and her mom's the white one. Reversed parents of ours. Ain't that sweetness?!?!? Okay, so, The roads were really bad, so we didn't get to go to a live nativity at our Saturday church. (We like to pick on one of the bus workers named Josuf, but that's a different blog entry.) We got to Rachael's trailor and walked inside. It was really nice! Rachael's room was freakin' coolio! I wanted it. She has a dog named Scotty. Rachael says that he's really hyper. (We didn't get to see him much.) We soon sang to her and watched open her presents. We got her some socks....really awesome socks. one pair said "Left Foot" on one sock and "Right Foot" on the other. Doesn't that sound nice? Anyway, we got some cake and it was yummy. Peoples' tounges were blue because of the dye in the icing. We soon left her place and saw her on Monday at school.

Rachael's 15th B-Day Part 1

We went to Rachael's Birthday party on Saturday. But before that, we went to church and had "Christmas on the Bus". "Christmas on the Bus" is when every kid on the bus gets a present based on their age group, thanks to the people who attend the church. (They buy the presents.) I got some nice bath items. Such as lotion, body spray, and some liquid soap. Amanda got some gloves after trading presents like 3 times. She gave them to mamaw, (Dad's mom) because she had lost her other ones.

Anyways.....

After church, I call Rachael to find out what the plan was for her B-Day party. I knew we were going to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, but we didn't know what time. She told us it was at 4:20. So, we left a 4:00...I think. She didn't get there until AFTER 4:20. See, her mom was to pay for our tickets, so, we couldn't just go into the movie and wait for her. We eventually got to see the movie. (Valeria was supposed to come, but we didn't see her.) The place was freakin' packed! We had to sit in the 3rd row from the front! The movie was coolness. You guys will LOVE Theodore! He'll make you say "Awwwww~!" Rachael was supposed to call her mom when the movie was over, so she checked her pockets for her cell phone. She couldn't find it, so we went back in the theater, thinking that her cell had fallen out of her pocket. We couldn't find it in there either. I asked her if she had even brought it. She said "Yeah!" then I thought that it might've fallen out in her van. She called her dad with Amanda's cell, and I was right. It had fallen out of her pocket in the van. After all that, we went to the place where people are nonexistant: The Kokomo mall. All 3 of us wanted to take our picture in one of those photo booth things. Rachael had a 20 and I had a 10. We needed to have $3.00 for pictures. We needed some change, so we bought some blankets (One for each of us) at Goody's. After getting out the $3.00, we cramed ourselves in the photo booth. It was fun! All of us laughed at the last picture that was taken, because Rachael had shoved Amanda's face into the camera. After that, We tied our blankets around our necks to be Super Hobos. Yes, Super Hobos. Rachael then called her dad again for him to come pick us up. We went outside where it was icing, and were Super Hobos out there. We waited a long time for her dad to come.

Part 1 has now ended....
Wait for Part 2 in the future.......Mmm Kay?!

3rd Place

Who knew that I had to make a mole for Chemistry? Well, I did. The teacher said that you could make a mole for a contest and for extra credit. I tried to be very creative when making my mole. It's an angel. It has big wings, a halo, blonde, curly hair and blue eyes, a blue skirt, and a little music player inside of it that plays "Silent Night". My mole ended up wining 3rd place (I tied with 2nd place, but they moved me down a place just because) and will be displayed in the show case along with my picture. 1st Place went to someone who made a BIG mole named Dr. Evil Mole. Then he made a smaller mole and named that one Mini Mole. THEN he made a cat that was furry on one side. Can you guess why he won? It has to do with the Austin Powers movies. It was really good! The big mole was big. Someone could put it in a store right next to the other big stuffed animals, and sell it. I don't know who won 2nd place, or what the mole looked like. I'll see it in the show case though, along with mine and the others. ^_^

Ahhh! Amanda! I forgot your made up word! Grr! I can't remember!!!! I keep thinkin' and thinkin', but I just can't remember! Soooooo.....
How would you family members like to make up a word for me in the meantime??? Gimme the word and the definition. I'll look up your word in the dictionary just to make sure you're not cheatin'! I'll also put the one I like the best on the side bar. You have to remember that it'll be up there until I remember Amanda's word, so please create one to fill that space over there. -->

Cold

Hmm...I still have my freakin' cold.....I have to cook today too.....Aw well. It's for Nutrition & Wellness class. We're making breakfast. Hmmm....I don't want my friend to get sick, but I might get this girl named Ronda sick...sounds good. Yupness.
Okay!
Well, mom and Manda seem to be getting symptoms. Manda said that her throat hurts and her nose is a little stuffy. Mom said that she feels horrible. (Maybe Ronda will feel horrible...?) This is not good. Dad keeps blaming mom that she got me sick, because she's around little kids all day; the carriers. Apparently, dad got it first because he was sick before I was. How ironic is that? (I used a big word!) Wait 'til I tell him! Mwahahahahahaha!!

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

I have nothing to write about, dudes. There's nothing new in my life, except this cold.......again.....Stupid colds. Anyways, since I'm not feeling very well, I have no intrest in anything. (I'm only writing this 'cause I'm bored and I just need something to do, because I just got done doing a worksheet.) So yeah, I'm bored, I'm grumpy, (From not being able to breathe at night when I go to sleep.) and I'm tired. I have one word to say and this is it: EEeeeeeeeEEeeehhhHhhhhhh!!!

Student of the Month?

"Student of the month?" I thought this as my DP teacher sat down next to me and handed me a paper. "You are my student of the month for December", he said. "December?", I thought, "It's still November." "So I want you to fill this paper out." "Okay." I took it, smiling, and looked at it. I answered a couple questions that were on the paper, still wondering WHY I actually got this. When I was done, I gave the paper to him. He took it and said, "Thank You!" I'm still wondering why, but I guess I shouldn't question this, since it's a good thing. There is a person or 2 who take better pictures than me. I'm guessing that they already got it, 'cause I really don't deserve it, with the pictures I see in my class.

In other news, artwork will now be accepted for the New Media and Video Festival exibit at Indiana University of Kokomo. I'm thinking about turning some in. I caught the sun through the branches of a tree in my backyard, and I like that picture. (You can turn in more then one submission.) They will be accepting digital art, digital photography, video, websites, or animation. So you guys should turn stuff in too.

My Internet

Sooooo...Nothing's real new in this life of mine. It's starting to get boring. I have all this free time in DPC, and nothing to write about. Hmmm....I'm thinking. Hold on a sec.................................................Oh, yes. My stupid pictures. (the ones with the sleep over and Rachael-poo) I'm not even messing with them anymore. The freaking computer is SOOOO slow. Mom said that one time, she put pictures on her blog, and it took them each 15 minutes to upload! How freakin' gay is that crap?! We need a faster Internet. Bad. With our old computer, I kept on saying, "Dad, can we get a faster Internet? Pleeeaaasse?" Then he would say something about it being too much money. Then on Christmas, we got a new computer. (THANK YOU! ^^) The Internet's a little bit faster, but it's not fast enough. We can't even watch things on youtube right away. We have to sit there and wait for the dang video to load! (Which will probably take a good 30 minutes out of your life. It depends on how long the video is.) I get so impatient. Club Penguin is sometimes STUPID! >/ It'll go: "Clear your cashe", or however you spell it, right when I'm waddling around, throwing snowballs at the pink Penguins. I'm jealous of mamaw's and papaw's computer, man. It's feakin' fast, dudes! Sooooo......

"TOUSAN? CAN WE HAVE A FASTER INTERNET?!"

Haikus

A Haiku is a poem that consists of 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the last line has 5 syllables. I got bored in SRP (Student Resource Period) after doing some math homework, so I wrote some. Here they are! ^_^:

Banana Haiku
Bananas are good.
They're yellow and soft like poo.
Wanna eat one now?

Little Boy Haiku
Boys are young and free.
Running around playing tag.
Michael Jackson's near.

Olivia Haiku
Chub and soft is she.
Has glasses so she can see.
Hates everybody.

Gun Haiku
Guns are very loud.
You get shot and then you're dead...
By crazy people

Sad Person Haiku
I pretend to be
Happy in front of my friends
So they won't worry.

School Haiku
School is a prison.
They say it's for teaching kids.
...What is 2+2?

Lost Soul Haiku
Help me find myself.
I am lost in the darkness.
Help me find the light.

Snow Haiku
Snow is on the ground.
Shimmering in the sunlight.
The cold has arrived.

Prep Haiku
Lipgloss and cute boys;
These are the subject of preps,
So let's shoot them down.

Goth Haiku
They have chains on pants.
Eyeliner around the eyes.
Watch your step or die.

Amanda Haiku
Amanda asks me
For a haiku of herself.
Well here's your Haiku.

Spider Pig Haiku
Spider Pig's a pig.
He does whatever he wants.
Long live Spider Pig!

Kumquat Haiku
"Kumquat" is special.
We use it as a curse word.
Nobody eats them.

School is boring. Boring, boring, boring. I'm WAY done with this assignment, and I've got nothing to do. All I do is looks at y'all's blogs all the time. We have an hour and 3o minutes in here!!! It sucks, dudes! Ya got any fun sites I can be on? I can't play computer games at all, which makes it suck more. That means no Club Penguin. Aaaarrrrgg! These are the times when DP gets all boring on ya. So...about them sites???

Sleepover!

Last Thursday, Rachael spent the night at mine and Manda's house. It was fun! We wanted to make pizza for everybody, and we all did. All of the pizzas were stuffed crust. I took the camera out and wanted to do before and after pictures of the pizzas. Everybody helped except the mom and dad, and the finished products were great! We made 3 pizzas! Dad said that he liked 'em and wanted me and Amanda to make more again. Later that night, Manda sorta fell asleep. Me and Rachael then decided to do some head banging, just to catch our hair flying in a picture. I got the camera out again, and took some. All of the pics of that night are below:

Well...I have to resize all the pictures because they're so gosh dang big! Our "Photoshop" can resize pictures, but it's so frustrating to get it to the right size! Sometimes it won't even save it right. To make this all worse, our computer is probably the slowest out of everybody else's, so it may take a LONG while to get them up. =/

Oh yes! It's my X-mas list:

The things I told mom and dad:
  1. Nintendo DS
  2. My Sims (A game for the DS)
  3. Animal Crossing: Wild World (Another game for the DS)
  4. Some Naruto game for the DS (I forget what it's called.)
  5. iPod Nano
  6. Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 (For the Gamecube)
  7. Any Naruto items (Except the cards and the action figures. Those are icky poo.)
  8. A NEW FREAKIN' INTERNET, BOI!!!
Things I haven't told mom and dad(I think):
  1. Movie tickets would be nice.
  2. How about a Phone card...or 2?
  3. I need JEANS. (I have lots of capri pants, thanks to Annea.)
  4. PSP (I'm savin' up my moolah for that sucka. It's $169.99!)
  5. Money (So I can buy that PSP, baby!)
  6. A black sweater jacket
  7. Paramore CD (Paramore is a band, dudes. The CD's called "Riot!")
  8. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus CD (Another band. I forget what the CD's called.)
  9. One word: Hoodies
  10. A good Photoshop program (Ours suck like heck)

Well, that's about it. If I get all the DS things and the iPod that I told mom and dad, I'll be one happy camper! (Of course, I'll be busy playing the DS all day. Every hour, on the hour.) =D I might put more on my blog, or on this list, who knows. Did I mention that the PSP comes with Internet access?! It does! So, I want money too.

P.S: Sorry. But I want expensive things. You live once. (=D)

Freakyness

Okay, I had some freakyness happen to me yesterday morning while searching for random things on Google.

First, I typed in my name.....It was fine. Nothing freaky.

Then I typed in "Olivia Rutherford"

That's when the freakyness happened.

The first link was this: http://www.oliviarutherford.co.uk/
That, my friend, is WEIRD!
IT'S A FREAKIN' PHOTOGRAPHY SITE!!

The list will be comming soon!

I promise!

Guess what, people. I'm sick. I think it's freakin' allergies. I have a headache, stuffy nose, and throat problems. (I think it's a sore throat. I don't know what's wrong with it.) It's really gay because I have to go to dumb school and be miserable, instead of staying at home and being miserable. My voice is all weird and I don't wanna talk......Well, I don't think I CAN talk. That's how bad it is. If I do try to talk, you could barely hear me. I hate my nose! With it's...stuffyness and it's...runnyness when it's not all "Hey! I'm gonna be stuffy!"...-ness...? I'm also having trouble sleeping at night because of it, which is really bad, considering that I have to get up at 5:40 a.m. I probably woke up about 3 times last night. I've taken medicine, so, hopefully, it'll work soon. Like I said, this is gay. >.<

Bloggin' At School Every Morining

Yes, that's right. I blog at school in Digital Photography class. In fact I wrote this post and the last post in Digital Photography. I look at ALL your blogs, to see if anything's new. Now I know how y'all (I had the urge to type "y'all"!) felt when I didn't post for a long time. Sorry about that. Anyways, I'm bored now. Everyone's working on a project that I got done at the very begining of class. It was very easy. Plus, I have a sub, so there's not much goin' on. There's a lot of absent people too.......YESSSSSS!
Startin' on another project....Peace!...........
ohmygosh! Here's my project! (It's going to be awesome when it's finished!) :

In this project, each of you will be asked to complete a demonstration using a combination of copy and pictures. ("Copy and pictures"?? I don't get it.) You will need to work with a camera partner on this project. First, you must come up with some type of "How to process" some examples are these (Oh. I get it now.) :

  • How to tie a shoe
  • How to change a light bulb
  • How to make a sandwich (A sandwich?! xD)
  • How to wash your hands

Before any pictures are taken, you must submit your step-by-step process. For each step of the process, you will then have your partner take a picture. The process should contain at least 10 steps, but no more than 20.

When finished, you will compose a packet which contains the pictures that will have the step of the process typed below the picture. I will assist with the layout of the project once the steps of the process are created and all of the pictres are taken. You will recive 2 grades for this project. One for your submitted step-by-step process and one for your pictures identified with the steps. Good luck!

Don't worry family, no one got up and started taking the cameras out when I was typing this. They stayed on their computers, doing whatever they were doing before the project was given. My partner is still working on the last project anyways...I think...Okay, she's not. Plus, there's a lot of absent people, remember? So, yeah. No one's going to pick up a camera today. I know what you're thinking!: "Start now and get it over with!", right? Well, the problem is that I can't think of a "how to process". I have to friggin' think, okay. Some suggestions would be nice. =)

..::Book::..

Ok, this book is flippin' boring. (I'll get money for reading it, but it's still boring.) I haven't read it since 2 weeks ago. The title is How to Win Friends and Influence People. It sounds like a handbook for life. The author makes it like a diary type thing. He refers to himself as "I", which sorta makes it confusing. I don't wanna read what this guy has done! He also talks about many, many people and quotes them. In some quotes, I don't even understand them. I'm a teenager, I wouldn't get that kind of stuff. In one chapter, he talks about how to get something you want without asking for it. His example that I found to be understandable was of someone named Stan Novak of Cleveland, Ohio.

"Stan came home from work one evening to find his youngest son, Tim, kicking and screaming on the living room floor. He was to start kindergarten the next day and was protesting that he would not go. Stan's normal reaction would have been to banish the child to his room and tell him he'd just better make up his mind to go. He had no choice. But tonight, recognizing that this would not really help Tim start kindergarten in the best frame of mind, Stan sat down and thought, 'If I were Tim, why would I be excited about going to kindergarten?' He and his wife made a list of all the fun things Tim would do such as finger-painting, singing songs, and making new friends. Then they put them into action. 'We all started finger-painting on the kitchen table-my wife, Lil, my other son, Bob, and myself, all having fun. Soon Tim was peeping around the corner. Nest he was begging to participate. 'Oh, no! You have to go to kindergarten first to learn how to finger-paint.' With all the enthusiasm I could muster I went the list talking in terms he could understand-telling him all the fun he would have in kindergarten. The next morning I thought I was the first one up. I went downstairs and found Tim sitting sound asleep in the living room chair. 'What are you doing here?' I asked. 'I'm waiting to go to kindergarten. I don't want to be late.' The enthusiasm of our entire family had aroused in Tim an eager want that no amount of discussion of threat could have possibly accomplished'"

I read this on one of my GQE test days. Later that same day, me and Amanda went to Head Start to work with mom. Too bad she wasn't there to help us in the big room. (The big room is where the little kids go to play.) We were with Shane or Mr. Matlock's class the whole day. We were in the big room when one of the little kids hurt his head. (It was sorta my fault, so I felt really bad because he started crying.) I sat him on a chair and started to rub his head while the other kids started to get in line. I asked him if he wanted to go to the nurse, and he said no. Then the other kids and the teachers left the big room and I asked him again. He still said no. He stopped crying by this time, and we needed to get back to the room for snack. I told him that we needed "to go to the classroom now." I went near him to grab his hand and he kept swinging his arms and feet around, so I tried my best to apply the principle. I asked him if he wanted to go home. He said yes, of course. So then I told him that if he went to class, he would get to go home. He STILL wouldn't budge! I tried everything I could think of! I was soon fed up and picked him up. Manda was with me and she said, "You need to let him walk." I set him down and grabbed his hand. Well, he fell on the freakin' floor. Luckily mom came out of a room near by. She picked him up by the hand and we ALL walked to class. That principle did NOT work for me. It was either that, or the kid was just way too stubborn. (Oh yeah, I actually left him in the big room "by himself")

My First Ad

(I HAVE NO IDEA IF YOU CAN CLICK THIS TO MAKE IT BIGGER, BUT GO AHEAD AND TRY IF YOU CAN'T READ IT.)
Yes.
You wanted more, so I'll give you people more.
I'll be thinking about the story as much as I can, because I have no idea what Bob is going to go through.

Goodbye Sticks!

I am Finished!

Yes, the lovable stick people that you know in The Book of Jon (and Friends) have finally ended their career. I finished it on Friday at school, during 3rd period Spanish class. We had "Half Game Day", and that meant that we could do whatever we wanted! (Some guy even pulled out his freakin' laptop!) I had nothing to do, so I'd thought that I'd finish up Dolly, since I had the book in my backpack for Rachael to see during lunch. I love all my characters. So Give them an applaud for entertaining you! ^^

Quotes:
"I want pickles and Ice cream, Dangit!" - Fred
"Hair! OMG!" - Dolly
"Look! Bill Cosby!" - That one Guy who tried to capture Dolly
"Well this feels suckish." - Dolly
"Moo!" - The Stray Cow

(If you have anymore quotes that you remember, I'll put them up!)

My First School Days

Hm? If I could describe it in one word, it would be: Boring. Yeah, it's boring, but the days go by fast. I thought today was Tuesday. I like my red days, but I hate my blue days. I would like both days much more if I ditched my math class. That one is so BORING!! I almost fell asleep yesterday in that class from listening to my teacher talk so much. (He has a deep, boring voice, so I could go night-night in that class if I could, and I don't usually fall asleep in class at all.) Anyways, here's my schedule:

RED DAY:
1st Period: Digital Photography (It's kinda boring in that class too, because we haven't done anything with the cameras yet.)
2nd Period: English (That classroom is THE coldest classroom ever! Plus, the teacher has a fan blowin' on him!)
3rd Period: Spanish (I have my old middle school Spanish teacher for this class, so I know her rules well and what to do. One of the easiest classes)
4th Period: Nutrition & wellness (In that class, we learn about food. We will get to cook it too.)

BLUE DAY:
5th Period: Digital Photography (Yes, I have this class twice. It's like my first period EVERY day.)
6th Period: SRP (Stands for Student Resource Period. We use this class to do homework and other pieces of crap stuff that I hate. We also use this period to go do make-up work in another class if you have an SRP pass.)
7th Period: Integrated Math IIA (I did Integrated Math IB in Summer School.)
8th Period: Chemistry (It's okay. I only say this because I like the teacher. He's cool.)

There it is. Now, don't ask me, "How's school?"

The Book of Jon (and friends)

Hello relatives! I have been writing a story for a while now. I had totally forgotten about it until cleaning my room one day for our new bed arrival! I found the little notebook among tons of other crap. I opened it up and there was my Jon story. It's about this guy who has many health problems. Throughout the story, I keep on mistaking Jon's twin for him. Anyways, I was thrilled that I had found it, because I had written it over a year ago. I then got the inspiration to write about Jon's twin, which is longer then the first story in my little notebook. The stories have slapstick comedy in them. And It's rated PG because of rude humor. (Sorry Ari and Ian, mommy can't read it to you.)
I took the book over to my grandma and grandpa's house on the following Sunday, because I knew Annea and Rich were going to be there. All I can tell you, is that they were cracking up at it. I then wrote and ended the third story that same day. I can't tell you the title of it, because that would give some of it away. I've been thinking of a way to put my stories on here without tearing the pages out. And on my computer, I can't draw or anything that would look like the original. So, I will keep my little notebook in the car and if you wanna see it, just tell me and I'll bring it inside wherever. Trust me, you WILL laugh. I am currently working on another story in my little notebook. It's entitled Dolly.

Imma Tour Guide! =D + A girl named Rachael

Today, I had to help TapeEar and my friend, Rachael, find things in the high school. (Classrooms and lockers) TapeEar did find things on her own, like her locker. (Which she might not use.) I did have to help Rachael find her locker. Her mom thought that the lockers were only downstairs, but some are upstairs too. Rachael said that she looked all downstairs to find her locker. No luck. Her mom can't climb stairs, so I took Rachael upstairs to find her locker, leaving her mom, and mine and TapeEar's parents behind. Rachael told her mom to wait for her right by the auditorium. We finally found her locker in the Spanish hallway. Right before we did find her locker, a voice on the intercom said that people with the last name that starts with an "A" and these Kat people, were to meet their parents in this room number I can't remember now. Rachael's last name is Arredondo, so we were worried that we wouldn't find her mom. All three of us went downstairs. I found my Tousan (That means "father" in Japanese.) easily. But when we went by the auditorium, we didn't see Rachael's mom anywhere. Rachael went in search for her mom and then found us again, with no mom. The last time we saw her, she made her way to the bathroom. I guess she found her mom, 'cause we didn't see her again.

About Rachael:
She is my "Besty" as TapeEar says. We see her every Saturday at church. I met her, I guess, at Saturday church, through TapeEar. She did spend the night with us sometime in July. She's sorta like Tiffany, but not THAT much like Tiffany. (Oh yeah, Tiffany's in Arkansas right now, with her aunt. She won't be back for a year. o_O) Rachael's an awsome buddy of mine! She's half hispanic, like me and TapeEar, so we speak Spanish to each other, which is fun! We've been friends for a long time and I hope it stays that way! ^^

2 Posts in one day? Well, we just got some pictures uploaded on our computer and this was on of 'em, and I couldn't resist it! Sophie's so happy, ain't she?!

(TapeEar took it.)

Long Time, No Post!

Hi! How long has it been? I can't remember...
Anyways, I bet some of you didn't know that I had to go to summer school this month! (And mabe some of you did...) It was easy and I'm out already. I got out yesterday. o_O I think I might have an A. My now ex-teacher didn't add *our grades up with our Final test. I had an A before "Mid-term" and after it. Wondering what class it was? Intgrated Math 1B. I failed Algebra 1A first semester of last year...Woopsie, so I had to take it to catch up. I'm gonna have chemistry next year! Mwahahahaha!!! I'm gonna mix chemicals!!! >=D And I think Digital Photography 'cause that's what my counselor said.

*I mean my classmates and I.

Summer School with the little kiddies

I'll be going to summer school again tomorrow morning, but To help out! Yup, it's time to work with some brats again! Manda and mom said there's this kid in the class who said that he was in love with me....
-_-
Oooooookay...He's 5. He doesn't know better. His name is Curtis (Heh heh! Curtis....) and he doesn't listen to Amanda at all. I'll be going for my FIRST time over there while mom and Manda have been there twice already. I know Curtis from helping out with mom during the school year...so yeah...Mom told him that I would be coming on Friday and then he says, "I'm in love with her!" I don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow when I see him. I'm scared....You must HELP me!!

That's an icicle on the bottom. You can barely see it.

What's With the Blog Name?

Hi! Ever wonder why my blog is titled "The Life Of An Olive Tree"? Well, it's because my name means olive tree. I always thought is was weird because I thought, "I was named after a freakin' plant?!" but I found out that the olive tree is popular in Greece along the years. (Of course most of you probably already new this.) I embrace the fact that my name means olive tree, because I've been called "Olive" by friends.
