Haikus

A Haiku is a poem that consists of 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the last line has 5 syllables. I got bored in SRP (Student Resource Period) after doing some math homework, so I wrote some. Here they are! ^_^:

Banana Haiku
Bananas are good.
They're yellow and soft like poo.
Wanna eat one now?

Little Boy Haiku
Boys are young and free.
Running around playing tag.
Michael Jackson's near.

Olivia Haiku
Chub and soft is she.
Has glasses so she can see.
Hates everybody.

Gun Haiku
Guns are very loud.
You get shot and then you're dead...
By crazy people

Sad Person Haiku
I pretend to be
Happy in front of my friends
So they won't worry.

School Haiku
School is a prison.
They say it's for teaching kids.
...What is 2+2?

Lost Soul Haiku
Help me find myself.
I am lost in the darkness.
Help me find the light.

Snow Haiku
Snow is on the ground.
Shimmering in the sunlight.
The cold has arrived.

Prep Haiku
Lipgloss and cute boys;
These are the subject of preps,
So let's shoot them down.

Goth Haiku
They have chains on pants.
Eyeliner around the eyes.
Watch your step or die.

Amanda Haiku
Amanda asks me
For a haiku of herself.
Well here's your Haiku.

Spider Pig Haiku
Spider Pig's a pig.
He does whatever he wants.
Long live Spider Pig!

Kumquat Haiku
"Kumquat" is special.
We use it as a curse word.
Nobody eats them.

These are all cool haikus. I remember writing some in school. Don't think I've written one since then. Some of Bo's blog friends do haikus all the time. They also have 3 word wednesday where someone picks 3 words and they have to use them in a poem/story/something or the other.

The sad person & lost soul haiku's make me sad. Who did you write that about? You know you can talk to your Aunt Annea anytime you want to don't you. I'm good at keeping secrets. Heather and Paula used to tell me all their deep, dark secrets and I never once told their mom or dad.

Just so ya know, I'm not writting about myself, you silly goose. I made those up just because I got bo-red in SRP. I also watch tv. ^^

Rachael said that the "Lost Soul Haiku" was deep. Then I went all: =D

I HATE Preps, so thats the reason for the last line ;D

I don't like preps either. There are a lot of spoiled brats out there....even at my age.

People like us who aren't handed everything we want in life turn out better anyway. We know how to survive without having our way and having everything handed to us.

It's the same situation in high school as it is as an adult. It's still really annoying to know people who think they are the sh*t just because they come from a family with money or a famous name in the community.

........you're starting to think like an adult.....scary!!!!

Amen, sista! (hee hee)
It's like: Good luck tryin' to fit your big head through the doorway.

Adult...?
Dang....I wanna be a kid, man! Curse my adult mind.
